Godspeed Guesthouse

We were attending a week long course at the Penticton campus of Okanagan College and the location was ideal! But it was also very convenient for accessing downtown shopping and restaurants on foot. Check in was easy, the suite is spacious and well equipped. I would highly recommend!

The house was spacious, bright, clean and decorated with taste. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. They even had a travel crib and kids toys. We had a lovely stay.

Wonderful place to spend a holiday. Check In was a breeze, all info provided ahead of time. Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, was able to easily cook and bake, and the dishwasher works great for cleanup. Neighborhood is calm and quiet, we loved sitting on the balcony to have morning coffee. Will definitely recommend and return!

The carriage house was very clean and well equipped. There was only street parking and walking to the unit meant walking down an alley a short distance. As a woman traveling alone I wouldn’t have rented this knowing I had to walk down an alley to get to the house from the street. Mind you some of the properties have their parking in the back or their units were accessed via the alley/back access road. I didn’t feel unsafe though and it was an extremely quiet neighborhood. The carriage house had a great large upper balcony equipped with table and chairs and a little area with patio table and BBQ at the entrance. You weren’t far from anything you could ever possibly need as well. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider booking again if there was access to the back of the property from the street and avoid the alley all together. The owners (not the host) are at the front street side and the carriage home is above the owners garage at the back of their property. The carriage house is nicely decorated and tasteful and it doesn’t feel like your above a garage to be honest. Liked the fact I was able to do a little Netflix binge too. I did get to meet Brian (Host) and the Property Owner do to a glitch with the air conditioning system and they were attentive and worked hard to get the system in operating order again. Both gentlemen were great to deal with and personable.

This guesthouse was wonderful. Super tidy and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our thanksgiving dinner! Host was very clear with check-in directions, and responded to any questions I had in a timely manner. Would totally recommend and stay here again.
